I would like to take the opportunity to share some comments about our experience in working with Michael Hofman and MHE-International during the construction of our house in Kalihi Valley. Since we were determined to build our custom designed house with AAC, we were very pleased that Michael took on the daunting task of helping us as owner-builders through the difficulties of the design process and MHE-International also completed the structural design and engineering for the entire project. This included the design and supply ofthe entire steel frame for the house. We also contracted AAC supply with MHE-International, and Michael did a great job in design and calculations of the needs for AAC panels and blocks as well as making sure that container space was used most efficiently to minimize transportation costs. The AAC material was supplied in excellent quality and on time from the plant in China.
